Air Jordan 9
The Air Jordan 9 originally released in 1993-94 and was once again designed by Tinker Hatfield. It was the first model to be released when Michael Jordan retired from professional basketball to pursue a new career in baseball. They were not absent from the hardwood despite MJ being gone. A few PE were made for players such as Kendall Gill, Penny Hardaway and Mitch Richmond, as well as BJ Armstrong wearing a released with his jersey number on the back instead of the usual "23."
